OWNER AND HEAD COLOURIST

Nicole is one of the owners of Strands of Colour and has worked within the salon and industry for the past 11years. Nicole is our head Colourist alongside Marlie they both are responsible for training all of the staff on their colouring techniques and skills. She is very enthusiastic about the hairdressing industry and believes nothing is ever to hard, she enjoys a challenge. Nicole has been fortunate enough to work on stage at education classes with Schwarzkopf and backstage of fashion weeks, She has also entered in numeruos competitions over the years receiving a few trophies from these. With many education courses under Nicole’s belt she has lots of knowledge that she shares with the whole team. As head colourist Nicole oversee’s all colour work in the salon and is also around to help with consultations.

CREATIVE STYLIST & HAIR EXTENSION SPECIALIST

Peta has over 14 years of experience in the industry and has an extensive knowledge of her craft. Specialising in cutting, styling, hair extensions and upstyling Peta is a jack of all trades. Peta is also certified in Certificate 4 in hairdressing.

Having multiple competition wins under her belt, Peta can also add her work at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and a double page spread hair editorial in the Macarthur Weddings Magazine to her resume.

Peta never stops adding to her skills by continually furthering her training and knowledge to keep her fresh and up to date with the current trends and techniques. She started with us in 2007.

georgi

CREATIVE STYLIST

Passionate and driven, Georgi brings a wealth of experience to the art of hairdressing. A master of the scissors, Georgi’s work is to the highest standard. From taking out coveted state and national awards, to holding esteemed positions as an educator, Georgi has spent years perfecting her craft. Her talent and creative flair, be it on the salon floor or backstage at Australian Fashion Week, ensure each client walks away with an inspired style.

rachel

CREATIVE STYLIST

Rachel has been in the hairdressing industry for over 18 years. Throughout this time she has gained many skills from numerous technical training courses. She has a unique cutting and styling technique and is very friendly and loves caring for her clients.

Rachel has been fortunate enough to work behind the scenes at Fashion Week and Schwarzkopf Essential Looks hair shows. In 2014 she had the opportunity to teach young orphans in the Philippines to become a hairdresser through a program called “Shaping Futures”.

Rachel has been on maternity leave since October 2015, she is excited to be returning to work on Tuesdays in August 2016 and on Thursdays from September on wards.

marlie

HEAD COLOURIST

Marlie is one of our head colourists, a salon educator and has been in the industry for over 8 years. She does one on one training sessions with our junior staff and also holds the occasional group session. Marlie loves learning about new trends and techniques and in her free time she is frequently researching new methods online.

Some of her strengths include freehand colouring, bright and creative colour and pastel colouring. She loves the transformation process and gets a real kick out of making a client look like a new person.

Marlie has won 2^nd place in an IHS hair competition for catwalk.

kyra

COLOURIST & STYLIST

Kyra is a senior stylist with over 6 years of experience. She excels in all areas of colouring and styling but does have a love for blowdrying. Kyra loves involving herself with the latest trends and fashion and is always seeking further knowledge and education.

She has won 2^nd place in an IHS catwalk competition and looks forward to participating in many more. Kyra loves her job and takes great pride in her work. She loves caring for her clients and the overall look she can create for them.

Kyra is a fun, bubbly stylist with a real passion for hair.

brooke

COLOURIST & STYLIST

Brooke has been in the hairdressing industry since 2012 and has a real passion about her craft. She excels in customer service and has a real love for her clients believing that her client’s satisfaction is the number one priority. She enjoys all aspects of hairdressing but has a real love for colouring and men’s cutting. Brooke likes to keep current and up to date with all things new and exciting within the hairdressing and fashion industry and always seeks further education through courses and shows. Brooke won first place for an editorial photographic hair competition and has a very bright future ahead of her.

Dannielle

APPRENTICE HAIRDRESSER

Dannielle is new to our team and very bubbly, She is very excited about learning all things hairdressing. We are looking forward to seeing her progress in her career.

COLOURIST

Emily has over 5 years of experience in the industry and loves to colour. Emily has a great sense of humour and is always smiling. She really enjoys chatting to her clients and giving them the best service that they deserve. Emily is always laughing and brings a lot of personality to the salon.

Jessica

BEAUTY THERAPIST, MAKE UP ARTIST & NAIL TECHNICIAN

Being part of the beauty industry since 2003, Jess has many years experience including being part of award winning teams – most recently;

-Best Luxury Wellness Spa in Australia (World Luxury Spa Awards 2014)

-Day Spa of the year (Australian Beauty Industry Awards 2014)

Jess enjoy’s all aspects of beauty therapy but has a passion for Eyebrow shaping.

As a beauty therapist Jess finds it to be an amazing accomplishment to help someone relax, unwind, relieve stress or help them feel good about themselves.

BEAUTY THERAPIST & LASER THERAPIST

Qualifications including Diploma of Beauty Therapy and Vocational Graduate Certificate in Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Hair Reduction, Katrina brings over 10 years experience in the Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Industry.

Genuine and caring, Katrina is passionate about assisting clients achieve their goals, utilising the best medical grade skin care available and matching them to a customised plan to attain a positive and realistic result.

Her clinical knowledge of facial rejuvenation and pre and post surgical care allows her clients to feel confident that they are in good hands.

bianca

SENIOR COLOURIST & STYLIST

Bianca is a fun bubbly personality with lots to offer as an all-rounder in the salon. Bianca loves colouring but aspires to be a stylist as she develops her skills continually through training and education. Bianca has put her love of hair and fashion to use through competing in hair competitions and an editorial photographic competition.

Bianca always strives to be her best and to succeed and believes that client satisfaction is the ultimate rewarding factor in her job.

Jordan

SENIOR STYLIST

Jordan is one of our senior stylists he joined our team in March 2016, with his great personaliy and little cheeky side he has a real passion for hairdressing. Jordan has been in the industry for over 10 years, he loves styling and is an amazing blowdryer.

APPRENTICE HAIRDRESSER

Lydiah is an exciting up and coming hairdresser who has a real passion for everything hair. Lydiah absorbs everything very quickly and applies this to her work with amazing results. She is very eager to learn and loves conversing with clients. Lydiah enjoys all areas of hairdressing and can’t wait to progress further in her apprenticeship.

SENIOR STYLIST

Debbie has been in the industry for over 20 years, with having a few years off on maternity leave Debbie returned back to work in October 2015. Debbie is passionate about hairdressing and making her clients feel comfortable and cared for while in the salon. With her years of experience Debbie specialises in cutting and styling, she is eager to continue to learn and update her skills.
